About the event
How does a VIRTUAL Race work? The Ninth Annual Cipriano Classic will take place on Friday, September 25, 2020, as a VIRTUAL race. You set a time to run either on September 25 or on your own schedule. You can run or walk on a road or treadmill and either alone or with a group of friends. It’s all about setting a goal to complete the race distance. The course map is available on our website, if you want to run the actual course. When you complete the race, you follow directions in your race e-mail to upload your results. Race t-shirts will be available for pick-up at the Y at a specified time, for those of you who are local, or to ship if you live further from the Farmington YMCA. This event uses chip timing, by EnMotive Event Management and results are posted in 5- year-age groups. Rather than provide age group awards, we choose to donate every dollar to the Cipriano Children's Trust. While our 2020 event will have a much different feel than our past events, the Cipriano family appreciates your continued support. We look forward to the 10th Annual Cipriano Classic, hopefully, in-person, on Friday, June 11, 2021.
